Today is our last night in the hospital. We are excited about being able to take him home and put him in his own bed. We are also excited about being able to sleep in our own bed!
Mom is doing better. She seems to be healing from the surgery very well. She is getting up and moving around very well and with minimal pain/discomfort. She has had a pretty significant headache all day and medication doesn’t seem to be effecting it. I think it is sleep deprivation more than anything.
We sent Elijah to the nursery tonight in hopes that mom would be able to get a few hours of uninterrupted sleep.
